At the beginning of February, many of the SYMPHONY PhD candidates got together for some festive New Year’s drinks at van der Werff in Leiden. For some of them it had already been a while since they last saw each other at SYMPHONY’s General Assembly in September, so it was nice to catch up with each other.
Many of the PhD candidates are in the last phase of their research, which means that they are spending a lot of time writing all their results and insights down. The drinks were therefore also a welcome distraction from all this work, as well as an opportunity to share experiences with people who are in the same boat.
